Paul E. Cotterman, 56, of Wapakoneta, died 3:43 a.m., Sun. June 18, 2017, at his home with his family at his side.
He was born Aug. 2, 1960, in Lima, the son of Lester F. & Barbara A.
(Zink) Cotterman. His mother survives in Wapakoneta, and his father is deceased. Survivors include, his daughter, Amber Renee (Travis) Lea, Chula Vista, CA, 5 grandchildren, Haley Stemen, Kaleb Lea, Aaron Lea, Ethan Lea, & Ashton Lea, siblings, Rebecca S.
Cotterman, Columbus, OH, Dennis M. (Linda) Cotterman, Timothy D. (Deb) Cotterman, Cheryl A.
Selover, & Robert A. (Lill) Cotterman, all of Wapakoneta. He was previously married to Tracy Schaub, and she survives in Wapakoneta.
He was preceded in death by his son, John Paul Cotterman, and his wife Jill Place. Paul worked at Dana Corp., Lima, as a machinist. He was a member of St.
Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta. His other memberships included Brands Lake Fishing Club, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie #691, both of Wapakoneta. He was also a member of the U.A.W.
# 1765 and the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge # 1533, Indian Lake. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, playing pool, boating, gardening, canning, cooking, and baking. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Sat.
June 24, 2017, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta, with Rev. Sean Wilson officiating.
Burial of his cremated remains will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Wapakoneta. The family will receive friends 4-8 p.m., Fri.
at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, 1102 Lincoln Ave., (St. Rt. 501) Wapakoneta.
